Role Overview:

As an IT Project Manager specializing in Banking, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects for our esteemed banking clients in Bahrain. This involves orchestrating cross-functional teams, managing project lifecycles from initiation to closure, and ensuring alignment with client business objectives. You will serve as the primary interface between technical teams and banking stakeholders, translating strategic requirements into actionable project plans and driving successful implementation to enhance our clients' digital capabilities and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects for banking clients, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline commitments.

- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with banking stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements.

- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.

- Oversee resource allocation and team performance, fostering a collaborative environment to optimize project outcomes.

- Implement and refine PMO best practices and methodologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery frameworks.

- Communicate project status, progress, and challenges effectively to senior management and client stakeholders, maintaining transparency and managing expectations.

- Drive post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture insights and enhance future project execution.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated experience of 5-10 years in IT Project Delivery, specifically within the banking or financial services domain.

- Proven expertise in PMO frameworks, program management, and delivery management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

- Strong understanding of banking IT systems, regulatory environments, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and guiding cross-functional project teams.

- Superior communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly desirable.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment in Bahrain, adapting to evolving project requirements and business priorities.
