IT Manager - Energy Sector Location: New Delhi Office Experience Level: 10 to 15 years About Employer: One of the large MNCs in the Energy sector Key Responsibilities: IT/Digital Strategy & Project Management: - Develop and maintain a digital roadmap aligned with business requirements. - Ensure the roadmap remains relevant and updated with current realities. - Secure buy-in for the roadmap within the subsidiary and senior management to facilitate resource planning and allocation. - Oversee delivery of a portfolio of tech projects within time and cost allocated. - Lead and grow the IT function - Identify talent gaps, recruit, train, and retain talent. - Collaborate with Group's Corporate IT & Digital division on operating model, architecture, and cybersecurity principles. Help Desk Support: - Maintenance of hardware (computers, printers, scanners, fax, UPS, networking) and software. Assist with video conferencing and general IT tasks. - Troubleshoot IT issues and provide remote/telephonic support. - Suggest and replace old/defective parts upon approval. - Update software/drivers as needed. - Raise and follow up ISP service tickets. Data Backup, Server & Software Management: - Work with Corporate IT to ensure stability and security of server environment. - Implement robust backup solutions and disaster recovery plans. - Test data restoration regularly. - Implement cybersecurity measures to protect against threats. Website Maintenance: - Perform regular website updates and maintenance. - Resolve technical issues and update content (text, images, multimedia). - Ensure alignment with organizational goals. - Maintain a regular backup schedule. Cybersecurity Assessment: - Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments. - Identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. - Manage endpoint protection and network security. Incident Response and Management: - Establish and implement incident response plans. - Provide ongoing breach support. Scalability and Flexibility: - Provide scalable solutions in compliance with "Group Digital Standards". - Adapt to evolving technology and organizational needs. - Advise on tech solutions and plan for future needs. Compliance and Governance: - Ensure compliance with Group's IT and Data Security Policy. - Adhere to cybersecurity standards and GDPR/local regulations. - Guide on cybersecurity governance best practices. IT Communities: Participate in communities led by Corporate IT, such as: - IT Representatives - Microsoft M365 Champions - Cybersecurity - Artificial Intelligence Share relevant insights with local users to: - Improve cybersecurity awareness - Enhance productivity using digital tools Qualifications & Experience: - Strong relationship-building at executive, senior management, and operational levels. Background in: - Strategic leadership of IT/Digital function, IT management or engineering, Project management, multi-location team environments - Exposure to varied technical and business environments. - Preferred: Experience in the energy sector or large infrastructure projects - Certifications: ITIL certification (preferred) Tools & Platforms: - MS Office (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) - Windows Autopilot / Microsoft Intune - ITSM tools
