IT Infrastructure Consultant - Private Equity Firm - Contractual

Our client, a newly incorporated Private Equity Fund, currently on google infrastructure, are seeking an IT consultant to support their migration from Google to Microsoft and help set up the necessary secure and compliant IT infrastructure and operations needed to ensure data privacy, security and robust controls. This is a highly regulated business working with highly sensitive data and information. Support on establishing associated IT and data policies in line with market leading practice is also required due to future audit requirements.

The need is for a 4-week full time initial design and set up, followed by ongoing support on a part time retainer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 across the fund's organisation, including planning, architecture design, data transfer, integration, and cutover management

- Design and establish secure, compliant IT infrastructure & operating environment suitable for a newly incorporated Private Equity Fund handling highly sensitive financial data

- Implement appropriate security controls, identity & access management, encryption, monitoring, & audit trails aligned to regulatory expectations and industry best practices

Your Background:

- 5-10 years experience in IT infrastructure architecture, set-up & operations within Banking, Financial Services, or other regulated BFSI environments

- Proven hands-on experience migrating organisations from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, including data, identity, and permissions management

- Familiarity with compliance, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements relevant to Private Equity, Asset Management, or broader BFSI sector

- Strong understanding of security tooling, IAM frameworks, encryption standards, & audit requirements for sensitive financial data

- Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where infrastructure must be built from zero and scaled over time

- Able to operate as both a solution designer and an ongoing operations support partner on a part-time retainer basis
