
Head - IT (Global Shared Services)

Role Overview
The Head of IT for Global Shared Services will lead the design and execution of IT and digital strategy across a global shared services environment. This role is responsible for driving digital transformation, managing enterprise applications, ensuring resilient infrastructure, and enabling technology adoption to improve efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
The position requires strong leadership capability, global stakeholder management, and deep expertise in IT operations and emerging digital technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute IT strategy aligned with shared services and enterprise goals.
- Promote a digital-first culture leveraging automation, analytics, and next-generation technologies.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify technology-driven transformation opportunities.
Digital Transformation & Adoption:
- Lead enterprise transformation initiatives utilizing RPA, AI/ML, workflow automation, cloud platforms, and ERP optimization.
- Drive user adoption through change management, communication, and training programs.
- Introduce digital solutions to enhance productivity, compliance, and user experience.
Enterprise Applications:
- Oversee evaluation, implementation, and support of enterprise applications and ERP platforms.
- Ensure application architecture is secure, scalable, standardized, and future-ready.
- Enable seamless integration across systems for end-to-end process efficiency.
Infrastructure & IT Operations:
- Lead infrastructure strategy across cloud environments, networks, cybersecurity, and data centers.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of IT operations across global locations.
- Optimize costs while maintaining service excellence and ITIL-aligned practices.
Governance, Risk & Compliance:
- Establish governance frameworks and ensure compliance with global data security and regulatory standards.
- Manage IT risk, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership:
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations to deliver integrated solutions.
- Build and lead high-performing IT teams with global delivery capabilities.
- Manage strategic vendor partnerships and ensure value realization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership roles in multinational or shared services environments.
- Proven experience leading digital transformation and enterprise platform modernization (ERP/CRM/HCM).
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and IT service management.
- Experience managing global IT portfolios, budgets, and vendor ecosystems.
- Strong change leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
