Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Head IT to lead the organization's IT function, with strong ownership of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and technology-driven business transformation. The role will oversee IT infrastructure, ERP, cybersecurity, business applications, data and digital initiatives supporting manufacturing and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Leadership:
- Lead overall IT strategy, operations, infrastructure and technology roadmap.
- Manage IT systems, networks, servers, cybersecurity, backups and user support.
- Manage IT budgets, vendors, SLAs and technology projects.
2. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central:
- Own and optimize BC across Manufacturing, Finance, Inventory, Procurement and Supply Chain.
- Ensure effective use of BOM, Routing, Production Orders, MRP, WIP and manufacturing costing.
- Govern master data, user access, workflows, integrations and system changes.
- Manage BC implementation/support partners, upgrades, patches and customizations.
- Ensure clean, scalable and maintainable extension-based development.
3. Manufacturing & Process Improvement:
- Partner with Production, Finance and Supply Chain teams to improve ERP-driven processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, workflow improvement and process standardization.
- Ensure accurate integration of production, inventory, costing and financial transactions.
4. Data, MIS & Digital Transformation:
- Drive ERP-based MIS and management dashboards; Power BI exposure preferred.
- Improve data quality, reporting and business analytics.
- Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- 12-15 years of experience in IT, ERP or Business Applications, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
- Mandatory: Strong Manufacturing experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong understanding of BOM, Routing, MRP, Production Orders, WIP, Inventory and Manufacturing Costing.
- Working knowledge of AL Extensions, APIs, system integrations and SQL.
- Proven experience managing ERP implementation partners, IT vendors and technology projects.
- Strong exposure to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations and business applications.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
