We are looking for a detail-oriented IT General Controls (ITGC) Auditor with 2-5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, testing, and monitoring IT general controls to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ITGC audits covering access controls, change management, IT operations, and system interfaces
- Plan and execute IT audit procedures in line with SOX, internal audit frameworks, and industry best practices
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls across applications, databases, operating systems, and infrastructure
- Identify control gaps, assess risks, and recommend practical remediation measures
- Work closely with business, IT teams, and external auditors to resolve audit findings
- Prepare clear and concise audit documentation, reports, and management presentations
- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews involving IT controls
- Stay updated on emerging IT risks, cybersecurity trends, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in continuous improvement of IT audit methodologies and tools
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of ITGCs, SOX, and internal control frameworks
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of access management, SDLC, change management, backup & recovery, and incident management
- Familiarity with IT audit standards such as COBIT, ISO 27001 (preferred)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments
Qualification & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
- 2-5 years of experience in IT audit / ITGC / SOX audits
- Experience with Big 4 or reputed consulting/audit firms is an added advantage
