IT Business Partner - Logistics

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Partner - Logistics to bridge business and technology, driving digital transformation across logistics and supply chain operations. This role will act as a key liaison between IT and business teams, ensuring that logistics processes are optimized through innovative and scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop a strong understanding of logistics processes, including inbound, outbound, warehousing, transportation, EXIM, and freight.

- Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Logistics, Supply Chain, EXIM, and Transportation teams.

- Translate business objectives into IT roadmaps, digital initiatives, and process enhancements.

- Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved operational visibility.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and document functional requirements.

- Work closely with IT teams (ERP, integration, data, infrastructure) to design solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.

- Validate solution feasibility and ensure alignment with business processes.

- Oversee issue resolution, process stabilization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for solution delivery and problem resolution.

- Support development of dashboards and analytics for freight, shipment tracking, warehouse operations, and EXIM compliance.

- Partner with data teams to enable insights for cost optimization, KPI tracking, and performance improvement.

Technical & Functional Skills:

- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.

- Experience with SAP logistics modules (MM, SD, LE, TM, GTS, EWM preferred).

- Knowledge of integration technologies such as APIs, EDI, GPS integration, and tracking platforms.

- Familiarity with supply chain analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud).

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
