Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced IT Business Analyst from retail/fashion/apparel/lifestyle industry only who is proficient in Pos (point of sales) system.

This role is a mid-management position (Assistant Manager) based at the Head Office in Bengaluru, reporting directly to the Retail Transformation Lead.

The primary focus is to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, specifically within Retail and Ecommerce Transformation initiatives.

This professional is responsible for conceptualizing and defining best-in-class solutions for Point of Sale (POS), assortment methods, planogramming, and customer engagement initiatives like loyalty programs. Key technical expertise includes 4-5 years of IT business partnering, hands-on experience governing Ecommerce platforms, and a strong working knowledge of SQL, with Dot Net experience considered a valuable asset.

The role requires a deep understanding of business processes within the FMCG or Apparel industries, alongside proven experience in IT service management, vendor coordination, and complex system integrations. Beyond technical proficiency, the ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical thinking, result orientation, and the leadership skills necessary to manage a direct report and various vendor teams to deliver projects through UAT and final go-live.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualize and define Simple and Best in breed solutions for Point of Sales, Assortment methods, Planogramming, Retail store planning, Customer Experience initiatives (Loyalty, Customer engagement etc) along with Sales teams and involve in Technology management and vendor management of Ecommerce Platform.

2. Work with Core Team Member from Business to gather the business requirements and the expected outcome.

3. Coordinate with Development team (Internal as well as Vendor team) and get tasks completed on time.

4. Work with and alongside Sales team for UAT, Pilots and Go Lives for achieving business goals.

5. Responsible for facilitating resolution of issues and roadblocks.

6. Regular Engagements with Leadership for updates on initiatives.

7. Manage IT demands and deliver as per Prioritization.

8. Drive the compliance of SLAs and make strategies to overcome non-compliance.

Required Skills:

1. Experience in Retail Systems (POS, Retail Planograming, Customer Experience and Assortment Planning implementation.

2. Excellent hands own skills of setting up and governing E-commerce platforms.

3. Experience in IT service management.

4. Experience in vendor management, Sql working knowledge.

5. Dot Net experience would be an added advantage.

6. 4-5 years of IT business partnering experience.

7. Experience in integration across various systems and putting robust controls & monitoring to prevent leakage.

8. Good business process understanding in FMCG/Apparel industry.
