Role Overview :
As an IT Audit Senior based in Hyderabad, you will serve as a critical bridge between technical infrastructure and business governance. You will lead complex audit engagements, evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls and application controls to ensure organizational resilience.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including IT leadership, finance teams, and external auditors, you will provide actionable insights that mitigate operational risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Your work directly safeguards the integrity of our digital environment, providing the assurance necessary for the business to scale securely and maintain stakeholder trust.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute comprehensive IT audits and SOX compliance testing to identify control gaps and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate IT risk management frameworks to provide leadership with a clear understanding of potential vulnerabilities within the technical landscape.
- Partner with business process owners to remediate audit findings, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented effectively and sustainably.
- Lead walkthroughs and testing procedures for IT controls, translating complex technical configurations into clear, audit-ready documentation.
- Mentor junior team members during engagements, fostering a culture of technical excellence and rigorous analytical thinking.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in assessing IT controls and performing SOX compliance audits within complex, large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to articulate technical risks and audit findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear, concise, and persuasive communication.
- Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to navigate ambiguity and prioritize high-impact audit areas in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
- Advanced proficiency in evaluating IT risk management frameworks and mapping them to business objectives to drive organizational improvement.
- Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM is highly preferred, alongside a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Finance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams in Hyderabad, maintaining high standards of professional integrity and attention to detail.
