Job Title: IT & Data Business Partner - India

Reports to: India & Southeast Asia IT & Data Director

Role and Responsibilities:

The IT & Data Business Partner - India acts as the strategic bridge between India business leadership and the IT & Data organization. As a member of the India IT & Data leadership team, the role is responsible for shaping the India technology, data, analytics, AI, and digital transformation agenda, ensuring alignment between business priorities and product roadmaps. The role drives demand prioritization, portfolio governance, business value realization, and adoption of enterprise capabilities while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Operations. The Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to the India leadership team, helping accelerate growth, strengthen Route-to-Market capabilities, improve decision-making through data and AI, and deliver measurable business outcomes. This aligns with the Business Partner persona and product-centric operating model guidance.

The IT & Data Business Partner for India is a senior position within the organization. The incumbent is expected to:

- Shape India's IT & Data strategy and transformation roadmap.

- Represent India business requirements in regional and global product governance forums.

- Champion adoption of enterprise capabilities across India.

- Lead strategic conversations with India functional leadership and CODI members.

- Identify growth, productivity, automation and AI opportunities across business functions.

- Influence technology investment decisions and portfolio prioritization.

- Drive business value realization from technology investments.

- Own and manage the India IT & Data portfolio budget, including OPEX, CAPEX, business cases, annual operating planning (AOP) and investment planning.

- Manage financial governance for local initiatives, including funding approval processes and investment prioritization.

- Act as the single accountable IT & Data business partner for India.

- Support the India & SEA IT & Data Director in defining and executing the India's IT & data strategy.

- Establish trusted relationships with India leadership teams.

- Lead strategic demand and portfolio reviews.

- Ensure alignment between India priorities and Global / Zone roadmaps.

- Facilitate executive discussions regarding investment priorities, delivery risks, and value realization.

- Drive organization-wide adoption of digital, data and AI capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

- 12+ years of experience in IT, digital transformation, data & analytics, consulting, commercial excellence, or business transformation.

- Strong experience supporting Commercial, Sales, Marketing, RGM, Route-to-Market, Finance & Operations functions.

- Experience influencing senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

- Proven track record driving large-scale business transformation initiatives.

- Experience working within global product and matrix organizations.

- Experience managing technology budgets, investment portfolios, business cases, and value realization.

- Prior experience in FMCG is strongly preferred.
