
Project Director - Mumbai
Industry: Real Estate / Residential Luxury Villas
Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. Civil) or equivalent
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Project & Construction Management, with at least 4-7 years in leading large teams.
- Proven expertise in operations within Real Estate, Construction sectors.
- Strong background in cross-functional team leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with fast-paced work environments and adeptness in problem-solving and data analysis.
Overview:
As a key leadership position within the luxury villa and bungalow real estate sector, the Project Director will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of high-end projects. This role demands strategic oversight, exceptional team management, and the ability to ensure all projects maintain the highest standards of quality, budget adherence, and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Strategy and Planning:
- Proactively address escalations and mitigate project roadblocks, incorporating stakeholder input.
- Collaborate with the Head of Operations on prioritizing strategic initiatives and enhancing
operational processes.
Financial Oversight:
- Conduct monthly reviews of project accounts to identify discrepancies and manage expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with established budgets while exploring opportunities for financial efficiency.
- Engage in risk management and support procurement activities related to contracts and
negotiations.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Work closely with the Head of Operations to oversee daily operational functions.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence within the project teams.
- Utilize data-driven insights to facilitate timely decision-making and enhance process improvements.
Client and Stakeholder Relations:
- Spearhead key initiatives and projects across multiple functional areas.
- Collaborate with senior executives to formulate actionable plans for process enhancement and stakeholder engagement.
People Management:
- Support recruitment strategies, training, development, and career progression planning for team members.
- Foster a motivated team environment through effective delegation and mentorship.
Self-Management and Teamwork:
- Anticipate and navigate organizational changes effectively.
- Commit to ongoing professional development by staying abreast of industry trends.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Accountability for project timelines and budget management.
- Compliance with design and execution standards as defined by Isprava, evaluated through snag counts and client feedback.
