Ishan Technologies - Manager - Logistics

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement the overall logistics strategy for the company, aligning with business goals and customer expectations.

- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

- Design and implement efficient transportation routes and schedules to minimize delivery times and costs.

- Oversee the selection, evaluation, and management of logistics partners (couriers, freight forwarders).

Operations Management:

- Monitor and track all logistics operations, including order processing, inventory management, and delivery performance.

- Resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly and effectively.

- Manage and optimize warehouse operations, including inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.

- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics performance (on-time delivery rates, delivery costs, customer satisfaction).

Technology & Systems:

- Implement and maintain a robust logistics management system (WMS) or utilize existing systems effectively.

- Integrate logistics systems with other relevant systems (order management, inventory management).

- Explore and implement new technologies to improve logistics efficiency (route optimization software, predictive analytics).

Team Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals (if applicable).

- Recruit, train, and develop logistics staff.

- Foster a positive and high-performing work environment.

Budget Management:

- Develop and manage the logistics budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.

- Negotiate rates and contracts with logistics partners.

Customer Service:

- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the entire delivery process.

- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to delivery issues.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards (safety regulations, customs regulations)
