Key Responsibilities:
E-commerce Strategy & Growth:
- Own the P&L for all e-commerce channels including marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, etc.) and D2C website.
- Develop and execute channel-specific growth strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
- Evaluate and decide on new platform partnerships to expand reach and visibility.
- Create annual and quarterly business plans, demand forecasts, and budget allocations.
Marketplace Management:
- Manage relationships with marketplace account managers to drive visibility, deals, and marketing opportunities.
- Optimize product listings with strong SEO, enhanced content (A+ content), images, and attributes.
- Oversee campaign planning, visibility enhancement, and promotional calendars (Big Billion Day, Great Indian Festival, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with marketplace guidelines, service levels, and operational KPIs.
Website (D2C) Performance Management:
- Own the performance of the D2C website including traffic, conversions, CAC, AOV, retention, and revenue.
- Collaborate with marketing to run performance marketing campaigns across Meta, Google, and affiliate channels.
- Work with UX/UI teams to drive continuous improvements in site design, speed, user flows, and checkout experience.
- Build omnichannel strategies including loyalty programs, CRM automations, and post-purchase journeys.
Operations, Inventory & Supply Chain:
- Forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory planning across warehouses and platforms.
- Monitor order fulfillment, logistics performance, returns, and reverse logistics.
- Reduce operational leakages such as cancellations, SLA misses, return rates, and stock-outs.
- Coordinate with finance and supply chain to maintain healthy margins and cost efficiencies.
Data Analytics & Performance Tracking:
- Monitor daily dashboards for traffic, conversions, revenue, and operational KPIs.
- Track campaign performance, channel ROI, and customer behavior insights.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking on pricing, promotions, assortment, and rankings.
- Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reports to leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing on brand campaigns, influencer marketing, and performance channels.
- Collaborate with product and merchandising teams on catalog expansion and demand planning.
- Partner with finance on pricing, discounting strategy, and channel profitability.
- Liaise with customer service teams to improve NPS, experience, and grievance resolution.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must-Have:
- 10 years of experience in e-commerce operations, marketplace management, or digital business growth.
- Deep understanding of marketplace ecosystems (Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Blinkit, etc.) and D2C platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce).
- Strong knowledge of performance marketing, SEO, listing optimization, and conversion rate optimization.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel, analytics tools, dashboards, and forecasting models.
- Proven experience managing P&L and driving channel growth
