Job Description:

Title: Manager Revenue Assurance.

Location: Noida (5days Onsite).

Key Responsibilities:

Job Brief:

- Ensure accuracy & completeness of revenue accounting and customer billing.

- Understands practical aspects and application of IFRS / USGAAP.

- Track record of reducing reporting timelines.

- Ensure coordination with the team to achieve desired results with in timeline.

- Identify process weaknesses and propose adequate control mechanism.

Key Accountabilities:

- Understands relevant clauses of Master Service Agreement (MSA) / Customer contract and their implication on Revenue recognition in line with the requirement of IFRS & USGAAP.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue accounting in line with customer contracts and applicable GAAP (Ind AS 115 / ASC 606).

- Understand practical aspects and coordinate with operations to ensure correct revenue accounting as per accounting principles.

- Ensure ongoing validation of Master data in system used for revenue recognition and customer billing.

- Maintain accuracy & hygiene of revenue accrual process, track timely billing and escalate timely issues.

- Exposure to revenue model in IT Company is must.

- Understands the information flow of revenue transactions and concept of time sheet in IT companies.

- Ensure ongoing effectiveness of revenue assurance / control framework and minimizing exposure to revenue leakage.

- Communicate with the delivery team to seek clarifications / resolve issues required for accuracy, completeness and on-time revenue recognition.

- Coordinate with Finance team for month end closure activities, audit and other data

requirements.

- Ensure appropriate documentation / data management relevant to revenue recognition and invoicing.

- Maintain revenue trackers to provide complete visibility and control over transactions.

- Understanding of revenue recognition module in ERP (Oracle / SAP) is preferable.

- Comfortable with advance excel skill, voluminous data management in excel, and preparation of adhoc revenue reporting requirements.

- Background in transformation from a legacy system to new accounting platform is a desirable

qualification.

- Track record of having participated in cutting short the close timelines will be a huge plus.

Educational qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Commerce.

- Chartered Accountant with 5-6 years experience / CMA with 8-10 years experience.

Relevant experience and skills:

Must haves:

- At least 5 -8 years of work experience in revenue assurance & accounting preferably in IT Company.

- Understanding of financial statements, financial ratio analysis.

- Quick learner.

- Excellent analytical & presentation skill.

- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

- MS Office Advanced Excel and good Power point.
