Job Description:
Title: Manager - Business Finance.
Location: Noida (5days Onsite).
Key Responsibilities:.
Job Brief:
Financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis of company's business units and at entity level, providing critical financial insights to leadership by analyzing data, creating reports, and discussions supporting strategic decision-making.
Collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information creation and delivery.
Good understanding of Revenue Assurance as per IFRS / USGAAP and monthly close of books of accounts.
Key Accountabilities:
Financial Planning & Budgeting:
- Develop annual budgets for business segments and at entity level, including revenue, cost, and expense projections.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather input for planning.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to create realistic budget forecasts.
Forecasting and Performance Analysis:
- Regularly monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and explaining key drivers.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of business performance metrics (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare insightful financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Submission of monthly financials dashboard, customer wise project profitability and rolling forecast.
- Preparation of monthly/Quarterly/yearly financial results, identify variances and discuss and stakeholder for appropriate actions or decisions.
- Submission of Management PL with variance analysis between budget and actuals with reasons thereof.
- Analysis of various costs and identify, plan for cost control initiatives.
- Submission of simulation model of Management PL with all key drivers.
Strategic Decision Support:
- Provide financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Ad-hoc analysis - depending on business need.
- Active participation in bid, commercial process, understanding and providing key data, being part of discussion and setting expectation on profitability of bids.
- Interactive discussion with various functions for updating the cost metrics real time.
- Contract management understands relevant clauses of Master Service Agreement (MSA) / Customer contract and their implication on Revenue recognition in line with the requirement of IFRS & USGAAP.
- Monitoring life and renewal of contracts for continuity and better forecasting of business.
- Interactive with all relevant functions - Sales, delivery, recruitment, Talent management, training with reference to business in hand.
- Understanding and working experience in any ERP (Oracle / SAP) is preferable.
- Excellent Excel/VB skills.
- Database i.
- Access, SQL Power BI skills are a plus.
- Experience of managing changes in platforms from data perspective.
- Customer (internal or external) oriented with overall view of Business.
Educational qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce.
Professional qualification:
- CA/ qualified CMA.
Relevant experience and skills:
Must haves:
- At least 10 -12 years of work experience in FPNA function including knowledge of revenue assurance & accounting, book close etc. preferably in IT and IT-service Company.
- Understanding of financial statements, financial ratio analysis and interpretation of numbers.
- Quick learner.
- Excellent analytical & presentation skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of results-orientation.
- MS Office - Advanced Excel, Power point.
