Job Description: As a Business Process Improvement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance within an organization. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement effective solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, eliminate waste, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Process Evaluation and Analysis: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations of existing business processes, workflows, and systems. - Identify areas of inefficiency, bottlenecks, and waste in processes through data analysis, interviews, and observation. - Utilize process mapping and modeling techniques to document current processes and identify pain points. Improvement Strategy Development: - Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to optimize business processes and achieve organizational goals. - Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and subject matter experts, to define improvement objectives. - Conduct benchmarking and research to identify best practices and innovative approaches for process improvement. Process Redesign and Implementation: - Design and document future-state processes that address identified issues and align with business objectives. - Develop and present business cases to secure support and resources for process improvement initiatives. - Implement changes through project management methodologies, ensuring effective communication, training, and stakeholder engagement. Performance Monitoring and Measurement: - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics to measure process performance and monitor improvements. - Regularly track and analyze process data to identify trends, areas for further improvement, and potential risks. - Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting progress, outcomes, and recommendations. Change Management and Continuous Improvement: - Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging the adoption of best practices and innovation. - Support change management efforts by facilitating workshops, training sessions, and coaching to drive process improvement awareness and adoption. - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and methodologies related to business process improvement. Qualifications & Skills : - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CA / MBA preferred) - 5+ years of experience in a similar role; - Proficiency in MS Office - Exceptional communication skills - Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner Preference : - Experience of using SAP - Managed a team of 10+ - Worked at organisation with turnover of 100 Cr.
