The Specialist Insurance Credit and Risk

The Specialist Insurance Credit and Risk will be responsible for managing the organizations corporate insurance portfolio, analyzing risk exposures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and working closely with insurance providers to ensure effective policy placement, renewals, and claims management.

This role is crucial for safeguarding the companys financial and operational interests.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage corporate insurance policies including placement, renewals, claims, endorsements, and premium payments.

- Coordinate and oversee insurance claims filing, tracking, follow-up, and settlements in collaboration with internal teams and insurers.

- Conduct periodic risk assessments and exposure analysis for all business units and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and insurance regulations.

- Review and analyze insurance coverage adequacy across property, liability, employee benefit, and specialized risk areas.

- Liaise with brokers, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders for optimal insurance coverage and cost efficiency.

- Maintain proper documentation, reports, and dashboards for audit and management review.

- Provide insights and support during insurance audits, risk inspections, and internal risk evaluations.

Candidate Profile

- MBA (Finance) with 6-7 years of experience in insurance/risk roles OR Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of post-qualification experience

- Prior experience as an Insurance Specialist or Risk Analyst in the manufacturing or service sector is preferred.

- Expertise in risk analysis and mitigation planning

- Hands-on knowledge of insurance operations, policy structures, and claim processes

- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel reporting

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external insurance partners

Candidates from manufacturing companies or insurance firms handling manufacturing clients will be given preference
