Finance Manager (5-9 yrs)
The Finance Manager will responsible for managing and supervising the organization's accounting operations to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance in all financial activities. This role oversees general accounting functions, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls, while providing strategic financial insights to support organizational objectives. The Accounts Manager will lead the accounting team and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure efficient financial processes and timely deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation, review, and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Review reconciliations including bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company accounts.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Support the formulation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to management.
- Assist in financial planning, cost optimization, and performance monitoring activities.
Statutory Compliance & Audit Coordination
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory obligations.
- Prepare and maintain all documentation required for statutory, internal, and external audits.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
Process Controls & Governance
- Implement, monitor, and enhance internal control systems to strengthen financial governance.
- Establish standardized accounting processes, policies, and SOPs.
- Identify gaps and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and facilitate capability development within the team.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments, vendors, customers, and banking partners to resolve financial queries.
Qualification and Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance function
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Hands-on experience in ERP-based accounting systems (SAP / Tally Prime)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
