IPL Biologicals - Chief Financial Officer

Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary:

IPL Biologicals Limited, a pioneer in sustainable agricultural solutions since 1994, is seeking a seasoned and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all financial operations, ensuring world-class financial administration. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of financial planning, risk management, and international transactions, with a preference for experience in the Agri Input or FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate, design, and implement the company's risk management, financial, accounting, and reporting processes and systems.

- Drive all financial functions, including taxation, treasury, cash management, working capital management, corporate finance, and audit.

- Manage overall GL accounts, costing, budgeting, Balance Sheet reviews, and Financial Modeling.

- Take ownership of the underlying Financial Statements, lead statutory audit finalization, and handle routine monthly, quarterly, and annual compliances.

- Advise Senior Management on the financial implications and risks related to key strategic decisions and market trends.

- Prepare operating annual budgets and report on Sales, GP, expenses, and profitability within the ERP system.

- Execute budgetary controls and steer the development of the capital expenditure budget.

- Manage all aspects of procurement, supply chain, and inventory control.

- Conduct overhead spending and variance analysis, recommending corrective actions.

- Manage relationships with banks, negotiating term-sheets, and finalizing loan documents.

- Oversee and optimize all aspects of international transactions, including structuring them in a tax-efficient manner.

- Represent the company and liaise with authorities for IT, GST, ST, VAT, and Excise matters, and handle all Imports/Exports/RBI transactions.

- Design and implement systems and policies to facilitate internal financial controls and cost management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Senior-level experience as a CFO or in a similar financial leadership role.

- Proven experience in Budgeting & Planning, Balance Sheet review, and presentation.

- A strong understanding of ERP systems and project management.

- Must have hands-on experience with International Transactions and their tax implications.

- Very good knowledge of Product Costing and Product Schemes.

- Expertise in managing financial reporting, MIS, and Cost Optimization.

- Experience in the Agri Input Sector or FMCG is highly preferred.

- Excellent knowledge of financial compliance, statutory audits, and tax planning.
