Role Purpose:
The Investor Relations professional will be responsible for managing relationships with existing and prospective investors, ensuring timely communication, fundraising support, and delivering high-quality investor reporting. The role requires close coordination with investment, finance, legal, and operations teams while representing the InvIT to institutional investors, family offices, pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective institutional investors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for investor queries and ongoing communication.
- Prepare investor presentations, fundraising materials, pitch books, teasers, and marketing collateral.
- Coordinate fundraising activities, due diligence requests, and investor onboarding.
- Prepare periodic investor reports, portfolio updates, fund performance reports, and quarterly presentations.
- Communicate portfolio performance, distributions, operational updates, and key investment developments to investors.
- Support capital raising initiatives by coordinating with domestic and international institutional investors.
- Work closely with the Investment, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate investor reporting.
- Organize Annual General Meetings (AGMs), investor meetings, earnings calls, roadshows, and other investor engagement events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to support investor communication.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI InvIT regulations, disclosure requirements, and governance standards.
- Maintain investor databases, CRM systems, fundraising pipelines, and communication records.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Fund Raising, Capital Markets, Institutional Sales, Client Coverage, or Investment Banking.
- Experience with InvITs, Infrastructure, REITs, Infrastructure Funds, AIFs, AMCs, Private Equity, Private Credit, or Asset Management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure investments, financial statements, valuation concepts, and capital markets.
- Experience preparing investor presentations, quarterly reports, fundraising materials, and Board/Investment Committee presentations.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Exposure to domestic and global institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, banks, and family offices, will be an added advantage.
