The Investor Relations position is responsible for ensuring the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and all stakeholders (Internal & External). The holder of this job reports directly to the CFO, and work closely with Board, Finance department and other internal stakeholders and are responsible for creating the appropriate strategy, framework, and tactics, as well as for providing a very compelling investor relations roadmap. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It also requires the ability to carefully manage relationships outside the company in the equity research and investor community. Responsibilities: - Develop investor confidence and belief in the company's vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value - Develop a robust investor relations strategy and framework - Create and manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties - Manage equity research and investor relationships. - Provide insights on market activity by Competitor and peer-group analyses and present them to the leadership team - Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business - Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters - Help prepare the company's Annual Report - Monitor analysts' forecast on an ongoing basis, comparison with the Company's own forecasts, and work to guide expectations as appropriate - Monitor and review analyst reports on the Company and its peers and highlight any key issues for discussion with Executive Management - Conducting research on new investment opportunities Specifications: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with a variety of personalities and positions. - Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text. - Ability to analyze and improve opportunities for investors. - Ability to see bigger picture and contribute to any discussion beyond the specific remit of the role - Proactive and organized, with the ability to work autonomously, must be well organized; attention to detail; high level of accuracy - Ability to respond sensitively and appropriately to confidential issues and information - High level of accuracy, consistency and timely responses are essential Education & Experience: - CA / CFA / (MBA from premier institution) - qualification may be advantages but not a specific requirement. - Ideally past experience within the required (Preferably NBFC /HFC/ Finance) sector. - Proficiency in MS Office package (Excel, PPT, and Word). - Can easily adapt to any software or any computerized environment. - Job Location: Chennai - Corporate office.
