Investor Relations Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising & Investor Acquisition

- Drive fundraising initiatives end-to-end, including identifying, approaching, and onboarding new institutional and strategic investors.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier-1 VCs, PEs, growth funds, family offices, and strategic investors.

- Develop compelling investment narratives tailored to different investor segments.

- Lead investor outreach, manage pipelines, and support term sheet negotiations in collaboration with Founders.

2. Investor Relations & Board Management

- Own preparation of high-quality investor presentations, board decks, and shareholder communications.

- Manage all MIS reporting for investors and board meetings.

- Address investor queries with structured insights, data-backed analysis, and strategic clarity.

- Strengthen long-term relationships with existing and follow-on investors.

3. Strategic & Financial Analysis

- Lead financial modelling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning.

- Conduct industry, competitive, and macroeconomic research to guide strategic initiatives.

- Support strategic projects across business units by providing data-driven insights.

- Partner with cross-functional leaders to track and drive execution of key strategic priorities.

4. Tech Ecosystem & Market Intelligence

- Stay updated on funding trends, valuation benchmarks, and investor sentiment in the technology ecosystem.

- Provide leadership with forward-looking insights on capital markets and strategic positioning

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution; MBA / Master's degree preferred with strong academic track record.

- 10+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Consulting (MBB or equivalent), Venture Capital, Private Equity, or high-growth technology companies.

- Demonstrated experience in fundraising and investor acquisition.

- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and macroeconomic analysis skills.

- Excellent ability to synthesize complex datasets into executive-level insights.

- High proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and PowerPoint storytelling.

- Experience in due diligence, transaction processes, or capital raising is strongly preferred.
