Investor Relations Manager
Location: Gurgaon
Firm Type: Mid-Market Private Equity Fund
Role Overview
The Investor Relations (IR) professional will be responsible for managing relationships with existing and prospective Limited Partners (LPs), supporting fundraising initiatives, and ensuring high-quality communication between the fund and its investors. The role sits at the intersection of fundraising, reporting, and strategic communication.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Communication & Reporting
- Act as the primary point of contact for LPs on fund performance, portfolio updates, and operational queries
- Prepare and manage quarterly and annual investor reports, capital call notices, distribution notices, and NAV statements
- Coordinate responses to LP due diligence requests and ad-hoc information requirements
Fundraising Support
- Support fundraising efforts for current and future funds, including preparation of PPMs, pitch decks, DDQs, and data room materials
- Assist senior leadership in LP meetings, roadshows, and conference participation
- Maintain and update CRM systems for investor outreach and engagement tracking
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- 1-3 years of experience in Investor Relations, fund raising, or LP-facing roles within Private Equity, Venture Capital, Asset Management, or Investment Banking
- Strong understanding of PE fund structures, LP expectations, and reporting frameworks
- Experience working with domestic and international LPs preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong financial understanding and ability to interpret fund and portfolio performance
- High attention to detail and strong project management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
