About the Role:
We are seeking a highly driven and analytical Investor Relations professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in fundraising, investor engagement, reporting, and relationship management with institutional investors. This role requires a strong understanding of fund structures, performance metrics, investor expectations, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising & Capital Raising:
- Build and maintain relationships with domestic institutional investors, including Banks, Insurance Companies, Fund of Funds (FoFs), DFIs, Sovereign Funds, and other institutional LPs.
- Support fundraising initiatives and demonstrate a proven ability to assist in closing capital commitments for investment funds.
- Identify and cultivate prospective investors through continuous market mapping and networking.
2. Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a key point of contact for existing and prospective Limited Partners (LPs).
- Build long-term relationships through proactive engagement and transparent communication.
- Manage investor queries, requests, and follow-ups in a timely and professional manner.
3. Investor Reporting & Communications:
- Lead preparation and dissemination of quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc investor reports.
- Present fund performance metrics including IRR, MoIC, TVPI, RVPI, NAV, portfolio performance, and fund updates.
- Organize investor meetings, annual investor conferences, webinars, and stakeholder events.
- Translate complex financial and operational information into concise, investor-friendly communication.
4. Due Diligence & Data Room Management:
- Coordinate and manage LP due diligence processes during fundraising and onboarding.
- Maintain and update investor data rooms, fund documents, and reporting materials.
- Ensure all investor documentation is accurate, complete, and readily accessible.
5. Investor Pipeline & CRM Management:
- Track investor engagement activities and fundraising pipeline through CRM systems.
- Monitor investor interests, interactions, and fundraising progress.
- Continuously assess the LP landscape and identify potential fundraising opportunities.
6. Fund Operations & Compliance:
- Develop a strong understanding of fund operations, investments, finance, and portfolio performance.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, NDA, SEBI, Trustee, and regulatory requirements related to investor engagement.
- Leverage technology and reporting tools to improve investor communication and operational efficiency.
Desired Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Fundraising, Fund Finance, Fund Operations, or LP Reporting.
- Prior experience with Venture Capital Funds, Private Equity Funds, AIFs, Fund Administrators, or Asset Management Firms is highly preferred.
- Exposure to institutional investors such as Banks, Insurance Companies, Sovereign Funds, DFIs, and FoFs will be advantageous.
