Role Overview:
We are seeking a senior Investor Relations professional to lead engagement with a diversified investor base - spanning individual/HNI investors, family offices, and corporate/institutional investors. The role requires strong fundraising expertise, excellent communication skills, and deep understanding of SEBI regulations and fund product structuring. The incumbent will play a critical role in raising capital, deepening investor relationships, and ensuring timely, accurate, and well-presented information to investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising: Drive capital raising efforts across AIFs and other investment products.
- Investor Engagement: Build and convert relationships with HNIs, family offices, corporates, and institutions.
- Investor Collateral: Prepare investor presentations, data rooms, DDQs, and other materials.
- Fund Structuring: Present terms, fees, waterfall mechanics, capital calls, and distributions clearly to investors.
- Reporting & Compliance: Manage quarterly reports, capital call/distribution notices, and ensure SEBI AIF compliance.
- Investor Meetings: Organize and lead investor meetings, webinars, AGMs, and advisory committee sessions.
- Onboarding & Documentation: Support new investor onboarding, subscription processing, and KYC/AML documentation.
- Market Insights: Track investor feedback, market trends, and competitor fund communications to refine engagement strategy.
- MIS & CRM: Maintain investor databases, CRM systems, and reporting trackers for accurate information flow.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field; MBA/ CFA (Level I/II)/ CA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in investor relations and fundraising, with exposure to real estate and capital markets.
- Proven track record of raising capital from diversified investor bases.
- Strong knowledge of SEBI AIF regulations and fund charter documents (trust deed, PPM, subscription agreements).
- Familiarity with fund structuring, waterfall mechanics, capital call/distribution cycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare polished investor-facing materials.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/database tools.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple investor touchpoints simultaneously.
- Comfort working in a lean, founder-driven environment with high ownership.
