Investor Relations & Strategy - Corp Dev | Strategy | Fund Raise
Brief about the role :
We are hiring a thinking partner who will own the end-to-end raise - from investor research through term sheet - and take on expanding Corp Dev and Strategy responsibilities as the company scales.
About the Client :The Client is India's daily Hindu lifestyle app - a holistic platform covering Panchang, daily prayers, astrology (Kundali reports), Pooja bookings, and consultations. The product is built for 1.2 billion Hindus globally, we are creating a category that does not yet exist at scale. The client is a strong early proof of product-market fit. Now raising a fund in Pre-Series A to drive 10X ARR growth by end of 2026.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :- Own the investor CRM - research, outreach sequencing, follow-up cadence, and pipeline health
- Drive warm intro mapping across the founder's network, advisors, and your own relationships
- Lead pitch preparation - meeting briefs, Q&A prep, and post-meeting iteration on narrative and materials
- Manage the data room - financials, unit economics, product story, and due diligence readiness
- Own investor relations post-raise - quarterly updates, board prep, and ongoing investor communication
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities - content creators, temple networks, spiritual wellness brands, and distribution platforms
- Track competitive landscape and market developments in FaithTech - synthesize into actionable insights for product and business strategy
- Support business model and pricing strategy - own analysis on new revenue streams, geographic expansion, and platform monetisation
- Build the Series A narrative and infrastructure - prep begins the day the Pre-A closes
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR :- Has lived a fundraise from the inside - at a Series A or B startup, in an operator role, not an advisory one
- Can build a compelling narrative from raw data, not just polish a deck someone else wrote
- Treats process as a product - CRM hygiene, follow-up cadence, and meeting prep are non-negotiable
- Intellectually honest - can tell the founder what investors are actually thinking, not what he wants to hear
- Asks hard questions first: unit economics, repeat rates, CAC - before jumping to story and positioning
- Brings existing VC relationships to the table - knows at least a few investors personally and can open doors from Day 1
- Hands-on with tools - pulls data from product analytics, financial models, and dashboards independently
- Deep curiosity about the FaithTech ecosystem - reads widely, tracks the space, brings informed perspectives
- Aspires to build a career in corp dev and fundraising - sees this as a foundation, not a detour
- High ownership mindset - accountable for outcomes, motivated by equity and long-term growth with the company
EXPERIENCE PROFILE :- 3-5 years post-graduation - MBA (Tier-1) AND prior experience as a VC/PE analyst or in a Founder Office at a funded startup
- Has owned at least one institutional round end-to-end - from first investor meeting through term sheet
- Strong understanding of India consumer dynamics; diaspora awareness a plus
- Comfortable with pitch decks, financial models, and investor CRMs; hands-on with product and marketing tools - Mixpanel, Metabase, AppsFlyer, or similar
