Experience:


7-8 years of experience in corporate banking, specifically managing Small and Mid-Corporate relationships, with direct lending from the bank's balance sheet and exposure to debt capital markets.

Role and Responsibilities:

Origination:

- Objective: Generate investment leads that align with the firm's strategic objectives.

- Responsibilities: Identify and assess high-potential investment leads and conduct initial market analysis.

Thesis refinement:

- Sector Mapping

- Market Insights

- Business and Financial Evaluation

- Talking to Prospective Portfolio Companies (Promoter/Management)

Structuring:

- Objective: Develop effective investment structures that maximize profitability and minimize risk.

- Responsibilities: Structure deals with favorable terms, conduct risk assessments, and draft initial term sheets.

Underwriting:

- Objective: Perform thorough underwriting to ensure sound, risk-aligned investments.

- Responsibilities: Analyze financials, conduct due diligence, and assess the risk-return profile of potential investments.

Portfolio Management:

- Objective: Implement recovery strategies to minimize losses and ensure timely asset liquidation when needed.

- Responsibilities: Monitor portfolio performance, identify underperforming assets, and devise recovery strategies.

Initiatives and Proactivity:

- Objective: Demonstrate initiative by proposing and leading strategic improvements and workflow enhancements.

- Responsibilities: Lead new initiatives, identify opportunities for process improvements, and implement solutions.

Transaction Closure:

- Objective: Successfully close transactions to meet targeted timelines and terms aligned with fundraising goals.

- Responsibilities: Finalize and execute deals with investors, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.

Interpersonal Skills:

- Objective: Foster effective communication, conflict resolution, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

- Responsibilities: Communicate clearly with investors, team members, and other stakeholders, resolving conflicts professionally.
