Role Title: Investment Specialist
Job Level : Mid-level Managerial
About the role:
The Investment Advisor provides personalized investment advice to clients, focusing on long-term financial planning and wealth management. Investment Advisors take a holistic approach to financial planning and wealth management. Investment Advisors build long-term relationships with clients, offering comprehensive financial planning services. Investment Advisors typically have broader responsibilities, including estate planning and tax considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand client risk and return profile, identify investment opportunities, provide suitable solutions and ensure periodic investment portfolio review.
- Keep abreast with developments in global markets, investment products and opportunities.
- Liaise with central research / advisory / product teams / business divisions for identifying opportunities to cater to clients requirements.
- Work closely with the RM team to convert clients on investment advisory.
- Share with the client or prospective client house views on various asset classes.
- Showcase investment products to clients which may be of interest for them, or which are on the approved list.
- Explaining key risks and other features of products in which the client wishes to invest and updating the client on the same post sales.
- Assist the client in aligning his investments as per his needs and risk appetite in line with dynamic asset allocation.
- Broad understanding of financial products like Mutual funds, ETF, Structured products, PMS, AIF, etc.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: MBA mandatory with minimum 5 years of experience. AMFI and NISM Certification as required by regulator from time to time.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills to foster trust and confidence with clients.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term financial strategies tailored to clients' unique needs.
- Financial Expertise: Extensive knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and financial planning principles.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data and market trends to inform investment decisions.
- Portfolio Performance: Track the performance of clients' investment portfolios relative to benchmarks and goals.
- Business Growth: Evaluate the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing client relationships.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their long-term financial goals and needs.
