Role Title: Investment Risk Analyst

Reporting To: Group Investment Risk Officer (GIRO)

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a key role within the Group Investment Risk function, responsible for monitoring and evaluating investment risks across group entities. The role involves performance risk assessment, scenario analysis, and working closely with investment teams to ensure robust risk frameworks are in place.

The ideal candidate will have 3 - 7 years of experience in risk analytics, with strong technical and stakeholder management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify and assess risks across diversified investment portfolios

- Develop and maintain dashboards for effective risk monitoring and reporting

- Collaborate with CIOs, Fund Managers, and Risk Officers to define investment guardrails aligned with regulatory and business requirements

- Conduct performance risk analysis and scenario testing

- Escalate key risk observations to senior stakeholders in a timely manner

- Provide risk inputs across asset classes including real estate, private equity, and credit investments

KEY CHALLENGES

- Continuously adapting risk frameworks in line with evolving investment strategies and market conditions

- Ensuring timely and accurate risk reporting across multiple asset classes

DECISION-MAKING

- Define and refine investment risk guardrails based on asset class, market conditions, and investment objectives

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Engineering / Mathematics graduate with an MBA

Experience:

8 - 12 years in investment risk analytics or related domain

Technical Skills:

- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Python

- Familiarity with Bloomberg or similar financial data platforms

Core Competencies:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- High attention to detail

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively

- Strong communication and confidentiality handling
