Role Summary:
We are seeking a high-caliber Investment Portfolio Manager to lead the acquisition and strategic management of our most prestigious client segment.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling a portfolio with a minimum AUM of INR 6 Cr per client, targeting HNI, Ultra-HNI, Family Offices, and Corporate Promoters.
You will act as a sophisticated "Investment Advisor," leveraging a deep understanding of complex financial instrumentsfrom PMS and AIFs to structured products and alternativesto deliver bespoke wealth solutions.
The ideal candidate is a "Result-Driven" professional with the ability to transfer existing client books and build high-trust relationships through rigorous portfolio reviews and strategic planning.
You will be the face of our Private Wealth division, ensuring seamless service delivery while maintaining an uncompromising stance on regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Elite Segment Growth: Acquire, manage, and expand the Total Relationship Value (TRV) of private clients, maintaining a floor AUM of INR 6 Cr.
- Strategic Client Acquisition: Identify and onboard "New to Bank" (NTB) promoters, business owners, and family offices across small, mid, and large corporate segments.
- AUM Acceleration: Proactively identify wealth relationships and facilitate the seamless transfer of existing client books to accelerate portfolio growth.
- Customized Solution Engineering: Collaborate with Investment Advisory, Research, and Product teams to design and deliver tailored solutions across Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, and Structured Products.
- Advisory Relationship Management: Establish long-term trust through regular, data-driven portfolio reviews, market discussions, and holistic strategic wealth planning.
- Multi-Product Penetration: Drive growth across diverse financial lines, including alternative investments, insurance, and bespoke lending solutions.
- Market Intelligence & Feedback: Provide real-time insights on competitor activity and client needs to drive product innovation and service enhancement.
- Compliance & Risk Governance: Ensure 100% adherence to SEBI/RBI guidelines and internal risk policies for every transaction and client engagement.
- Continuous Technical Mastery: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global economic trends, tax implications, and shifting market dynamics to provide superior advice.
- Service Ecosystem Alignment: Coordinate with operations and advisory support teams to ensure a frictionless, high-quality experience for Ultra-HNI clients.
Technical Requirements:
- Wealth Management Pedigree: 5+ years of experience in Private Wealth or PCG (Private Client Group), with a proven track record of managing AUM > INR 100 Cr.
- Product Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of Alternate Investment Funds (AIF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and high-yield structured products.
- Portfolio Analytics: Proficiency in interpreting Sharpe Ratios, Standard Deviation, and Alpha/Beta metrics to optimize client asset allocation.
- Compliance Proficiency: Deep understanding of KYC/AML norms for Ultra-HNI onboarding and the regulatory framework for offshore investments and family offices.
- Financial Planning Mastery: Ability to use advanced wealth modeling tools to project cash flows and succession planning for family offices.
