Title: Investment / Portfolio Director  Reports to: Managing Director / Partner  Reportees: Team of (VP / Portfolio Managers / Associate / Analysts)   Location: New Delhi / NCR Region  CTC Range: 70 - 80 Lakhs + Share of Carry Pool + Bonus  Education and Experience	  - MBA from premier schools / well regarded MBA Institutes or CA / CPA or equivalent education.  - Should have 15+ years of experience in total.  - Minimum 5+ yrs with strong experience of M&A, deal exiting, PE / VC Funds.   Our Client is a PE Fund with a focus on PE Investments in the emerging sectors in emerging markets mainly India. The Investment Team has a cumulative experience of years in Private Equity / Investment Banking / Corporate Banking / Consulting and Operations. Our Client's philosophy is to be the first or amongst the early institutional investors primarily providing growth capital to fast growing companies in the industrial / emerging sectors in India. Our Client has built up and demonstrated extensive on-the-ground expertise as well as experience in building businesses in the growth stage and handling various investment related issues.  Job Objective & Key Interactions	  The position is responsible for Fresh Investments as well as working with the Investee companies to maximize the value of the investments   The Incumbent will manage a team of Portfolio Managers who will assist in deal identification, negotiation, finalization and subsequently in working with the Investee companies to realize the business plans   Will need to work closely with the team of Investee companies to establish the systems, processes and reports that are required by the board and investors. A monthly review of the performance against business plan to be done for every portfolio company.  As most of the investments are already in place, the focus of the position will be on  - Smooth and profitable management of the Exits as they come up as per schedule   - Working with the top teams of the Investee companies and in a few cases, as a member of the company’s Board, with a focus on achieving aggressive turnaround objectives   Once a new Fund is raised, the role may involve sourcing and evaluation of new investment opportunities  Skills.   - Forward thinking: has a flexible approach to change, is able to work effectively in a variety of situations, seeks improvements and looks to the future.  - Delivering results: ability to plan and organize self and work in order to achieve objectives and targets.
