Investment Manager - Startup Fundraising & Investor Relations

- Experience: 4-7 years post-qualification

Role Overview:

This is a high-ownership, investor-facing role responsible for startup fundraising, investor relationship management, and AUM growth. The position offers direct exposure to HNIs, Family Offices, Venture Partners, and Institutions, along with end-to-end responsibility mfor investor onboarding, capital mobilisation, and revenue delivery.

The role is suited for professionals who have handled capital raising, investor conversions, and target-linked performance in startup, VC, AIF, or wealth management environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising & Capital Mobilisation:

- Drive capital raise for curated startup investment opportunities

- Own AUM growth and deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets

- Convert investor interest into committed capital through structured pitching and follow-ups

Investor Relationship Management:

- Build and manage long-term relationships with HNIs, Family Offices, and Institutional investors

- Conduct investor meetings, presentations, and one-on-one discussions

- Ensure investor confidence through regular portfolio updates and performance reporting

Business Development & Network Expansion:

- Expand investor network through referrals, events, and direct outreach

- Leverage existing relationships to generate repeat and referral investments

- Represent the platform at startup and investor networking forums

Strategy, Reporting & Governance:

- Prepare investment proposals, pitch decks, and performance dashboards

- Track KPIs including AUM growth, conversion ratios, investor engagement, and revenue

- Work closely with internal investment and strategy teams to align fundraising plans with portfolio requirements

Candidate Profile:

Mandatory:

- 4+ years of experience in startup fundraising, investor relations, VC/AIF fundraising, or wealth management

- Proven track record of achieving revenue or AUM targets

- Strong exposure to investor pitching, deal closures, and relationship management

- Understanding of startup valuation basics, investment products, and portfolio reporting

- High ownership mindset with comfort in target-driven environments

Preferred:

- MBA from IIMs or leading business schools

- Prior experience in VC firms, AIFs, Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Investment Banking fundraising teams

- Exposure to startup funding events, demo days, or investor roadshows
