About the Role:

We are looking for a high-caliber professional to join the Founders Office as a key strategic partner driving inorganic growth and corporate strategy initiatives in the rapidly evolving Cybersecurity SaaS ecosystem.

This role will work closely with the Founders and CXOs to evaluate M&A opportunities, lead strategic initiatives, support fundraising efforts, and influence long-term business direction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inorganic Growth & M&A (Core Focus)

- Identify, evaluate, and prioritise acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities within the Cybersecurity, SaaS, and AI ecosystem.

- Conduct market mapping and build a robust deal origination pipeline (India + global).

- Perform target evaluation including financial modelling, valuation, synergy analysis, and business case creation.

- Prepare investment memos, diligence summaries, and board-level recommendations.

- Support end-to-end deal execution including negotiations, structuring, integration planning, and post-merger onboarding.

- Manage commercial due diligence and coordinate with external advisors (legal, tax, technical, financial).

2. Corporate Strategy & Special Projects

- Partner with the Founders and leadership teams to develop long-term corporate strategy.

- Evaluate new business lines, expansion opportunities, and product/geography diversification.

- Conduct competitive intelligence, customer segmentation, and market landscape assessments.

- Work closely with Product, Sales, and Finance teams to align on organisational priorities.

3. Strategic Finance & Board Support

- Build business forecasts, valuation frameworks, scenario analyses, and financial models for decision-making.

- Support fundraising activities including investor presentations, pitch materials, and data room preparation.

- Evaluate capital allocation decisions and identify areas for optimisation and efficiency.

4. Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

- Act as a strategic thought partner to the Founders, contributing to organisation-wide decisions.

- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Product, Technology, Sales, HR, and Operations.

- Drive governance mechanisms for M&A integration, synergy tracking, and performance outcomes.

- Ensure effective communication and program management across strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

CA or CFA or MBA from a top-tier business school.

Professional Background (610 years):

Experience in any of the following:

- Investment Banking (Tech/SaaS preferred)

- Corporate Development / M&A in a technology or SaaS organisation

- Strategy Consulting

- Venture Capital / Private Equity with a focus on technology businesses
