Investment Director - Private Equity/Venture Capital

About the Role:

We are seeking an Investment Director with prior investment experience in Private Equity/Venture Capital. The person would assist the senior management team in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities and should be able to lead several aspects of the deal - including financial modelling, due-diligence, and preparation of investment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deal Sourcing.

- Extensive analysis of the industry and business fundamentals, financial modeling, management team evaluation etc.

- Deal Execution from commercial/financial/legal due diligence to documentation.

- Active monitoring of portfolio companies that would involve tracking performance, preparation of periodic reports, other support activities for portfolio management.

- Assist in Fund raising activities for Sabre Partners Fund V.

- Work within and lead a team of dedicated professionals.

Key Requirements:

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

- Ability to collaborate and work within as well as lead a team.

- Ability to foster deep and meaningful relationships with the ecosystem.

- Ability to work with different promoters and CXOs of portfolio entities, maintain strong relationships with domestic and international investors, lead the quarterly calls with the Investment Committee and Advisory Board, and interface with regulators as and when required.

- Understanding of accounting aspects and strong financial modeling skills.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Positive outlook, humble and ambitious.

Qualifications and Experience:

- MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent qualification.

- 8 - 12 years of post-graduation experience with at least 3 - 5 years in a Private Equity and/or Investment Banking firm.

- Experience in the Healthcare/Financial services/Climate sector will be an advantage.
