Role: Investment Counsellor, Wealth Management

Experience Required:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, or Financial Planning

- Prior exposure to advisory sales, portfolio management, or investment product distribution

Job Description:

Investment Advisory & AUM Growth:

- Deliver annual incremental AUM targets as per IC ramp up plan.

- Provide risk aligned investment solutions across Mutual Funds, PMS and other approved investment products.

- Grow wallet share of existing customers through structured portfolio reviews.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

- Acquire new investment clients through branch referrals and direct client engagement.

- Build long-term advisory relationships with affluent and HNI customers.

- Conduct periodic portfolio health checks and asset allocation reviews.

Revenue & Product Penetration:

- Drive noninterest income through sustained investment activity.

- Promote capital market products including IPOs, NFOs and secondary market investments.

- Actively onboard and activate 3in1 trading accounts and ASBA facilities.

Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure strict adherence to SEBI regulations, suitability norms, and internal compliance policies.

- Maintain complete and accurate client documentation to meet audit and regulatory standards.

- Avoid misspelling and ensure ethical advisory practices at all times.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with branch banking teams and Relationship Managers for lead sourcing.

- Support regional campaigns, client events, and investor awareness programs.

- Act as the subject matter expert for investment products within assigned geography.

Candidate Fitment:

- Strong understanding of Mutual Funds, PMS, and wealth products

- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills

- Strong analytical skills for portfolio construction and risk profiling

- High standards of ethics, compliance, and customer focus

- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross functional teams

Mandatory Certifications:

- NISM Series VA

- NISM Series XXIA

Preferred:

- NISM Series XIIIA

- CFP / Additional Financial Planning certifications (added advantage)
