Position Overview:
As a Consultant / Associate in the Deals Advisory & Strategy team, you will play a key role in supporting buy-side and sell-side mandates, providing strategic advisory services, and helping clients evaluate, structure, and execute complex transactions. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end support on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the complete deal lifecycle from initial opportunity evaluation through to closure including IM preparation, buyer identification, and due diligence support.
- Build and review valuation models (DCF, SOTP, comparables) to assess target attractiveness and deal feasibility.
- Support or lead key components of commercial, operational, and market diligence to inform investment or divestment decisions.
- Conduct in-depth sector studies, target benchmarking, and ecosystem mapping to generate insights for client mandates.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to gather key inputs, validate assumptions, and communicate findings effectively through presentations and reports.
- Assist in drafting investor documents such as pitch books, teasers, term sheets, and information memoranda.
Desired Qualifications:
- MBA / CA / CFA / PGDM with a strong academic track record.
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, or related roles.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with client-handling experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant financial databases (e.g., CapitalIQ, PitchBook, Mergermarket).
- Exposure to cross-border transactions and experience in working with senior leadership teams is a plus.
