Description:
Role Summary:
The Investment Banking Associate will play a critical role in all phases of transaction execution, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and preparation of client presentations and pitch books for both domestic and cross-border M&A deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling & Valuation: Construct and analyze complex financial models, including LBO, DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
- Pitch Book Preparation: Develop compelling and well-researched pitch books and marketing materials for potential clients.
- Due Diligence: Coordinate and participate in the due diligence process, liaising with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors.
- Market Research: Monitor and analyze industry trends, public company performance, and M&A deal flow within specific sectors (e.g., Tech, Healthcare, Consumer).
- Client Management: Assist senior bankers in managing client relationships and transaction workstreams from initiation to closing.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- MBA (Mandatory): Full-time MBA with a specialization in Finance from a premier/Tier-1 institution.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CFA Level II/III is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience, with direct experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Transaction Advisory at a top-tier firm.
- Exceptional command over MS Excel for advanced financial modeling and MS PowerPoint for presentations.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis, and valuation methodologies
