Investment Banking Analyst

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst with at least 2 years of relevant experience to support transaction execution and financial analysis activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, valuation, and strategic advisory assignments across multiple sectors. You will work closely with senior bankers and clients in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support execution of investment banking transactions including M&A, private placements, and capital market deals.

- Prepare financial models including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and LBO models.

- Develop pitch books, information memorandums, management presentations, and investor materials.

- Conduct company, industry, and market research to support deal origination and execution.

- Assist in due diligence processes by coordinating with clients, legal advisors, auditors, and other stakeholders.

- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and business performance to assess valuation and transaction feasibility.

- Maintain databases, financial benchmarks, and transaction comparables.

- Support senior team members in client interactions and internal discussions.

- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality standards in all deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (MBA/CA/CFA Level I or II is a plus).

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or valuation.

- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel.

- Excellent PowerPoint skills with strong attention to detail.

- Solid understanding of capital markets, corporate finance concepts, and deal structures.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
