Investment Associate - Startup

About the Role:

Rodic Consultants is setting up a Family Office to manage strategic investments across asset classes including startups, private equity, public markets, and alternative investments. We are looking for a highly driven Investment Associate to support investment evaluation, portfolio management, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Investment Evaluation & Execution:

- Evaluate investment opportunities across startups, VC/PE funds, and public markets

- Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling, and due diligence

- Build investment memos and present recommendations

2. Startup & VC Ecosystem Tracking:

- Track startup ecosystem trends, sectors, and emerging opportunities

- Build relationships with founders, VCs, and investment networks

- Participate in pitch meetings and investor discussions

3. Portfolio Management:

- Monitor performance of existing investments

- Track key metrics, returns, and reporting dashboards

- Support exit planning and liquidity events

4. Research & Strategy:

- Conduct market research across sectors and geographies

- Identify new investment themes and diversification opportunities

- Support long-term asset allocation strategy

5. Stakeholder Coordination:

- Liaise with external advisors, fund managers, and legal/tax consultants

- Support documentation, deal execution, and compliance processes

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 2-5 years of experience in VC, PE, investment banking, consulting, or startup roles

- Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation (DCF, comparables, etc.)

- Exposure to startup ecosystem / fundraising / deal evaluation preferred

- High ownership, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive financial information

- Strong analytical and communication skills
