Investment Associate - IIM

A leading venture capital fund focused on investing in consumer and consumer enablers in India. The firm is looking to hire an Associate to strengthen its core investment team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end deal sourcing, evaluation, and execution across early and growth-stage investments

- Build investment theses, conduct market/competitive analysis, identify whitespace opportunities

- Drive financial modelling, valuation (DCF, comps, transaction benchmarking), and scenario planning

- Manage full due diligence (commercial, financial, legal, tech) with internal teams and external advisors

- Structure transactions, support negotiations, and prepare high-quality Investment Committee materials

- Partner closely with portfolio founders on strategy, org building, GTM, capital planning, and follow-on rounds

Skills and qualifications:

- 2-4 years of experience in venture capital and/or management consulting.

- Tier 1 educational pedigree from institutions like IIM A/B/C, Ivy League, or equivalent.

- Prior exposure to tech/AI sectors is a strongly preferred.

- Exceptional financial modeling, deal execution, and market research skills.

- Ability to work independently and operate in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
