Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially astute professional to join our team as an Investment Associate. The role will support the Managing Partners in managing Positive Moves' global treasury investments as well as the firm's private equity investment portfolio. This position requires someone who is intellectually curious, research-driven, and capable of independently evaluating investment opportunities while ensuring strong governance and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

- Investment Research & Analysis: Conduct research across global markets to identify and evaluate investment opportunities aligned with the firm's treasury and investment objectives.

- Treasury Portfolio Management: Support the management of the firm's global treasury portfolio across fixed income instruments, ensuring optimal allocation and performance.

- Investment Strategy: Monitor market trends, macroeconomic developments, and interest rate movements to identify investment, reinvestment, and exit opportunities.

- Private Equity Portfolio Management: Manage the firm's private equity investment portfolio by tracking valuations, maintaining investment documentation, and engaging with portfolio companies for regular business updates.

- Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive investment trackers, monitor portfolio performance, and prepare periodic reports and dashboards for the Managing Partners.

- Investment Operations & Governance: Ensure timely execution of investment transactions, maintain investment records, and oversee compliance, documentation, and administrative processes across jurisdictions.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage relationships with banks, wealth managers, registered investment advisors, and other financial institutions to source investment ideas and market intelligence.

- Strategic Decision Support: Prepare investment notes, financial analyses, and presentations to support strategic investment decisions and long-term capital allocation.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. An MBA, CFA (or progress towards CFA), or equivalent qualification would be preferred.

- 2 to 5 years of experience in treasury, investments, corporate finance, wealth management, investment research, or related financial roles.

- Strong understanding of fixed income products, capital markets, and investment principles.

- Excellent research, financial analysis, and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize information into actionable recommendations.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders, financial institutions, and external advisors.

- High levels of ownership, integrity, commercial acumen, and intellectual curiosity.

- Experience with financial databases or investment tracking tools would be an advantage.
