Position: Investment Analyst (Large Family Office)
Role:
- Incumbent will drive Investment Decisions of Family Office through Research, Analysis and Portfolio Monitoring
- Execute quantitative screening of Mutual Funds, AIFs, and PMS strategies to identify top-decile performers for further review.
- Conduct deep-dive performance attribution to determine if fund returns are driven by manager skill or market factors.
- Build and maintain comprehensive 3-statement financial models (DCF, LBO) to validate valuations for private equity and real estate deals.
- Update the central investment dashboard daily to track Net Asset Values (NAV), exposure limits, and liquidity across all portfolios.
- Facilitate the due diligence process for private deals by managing Virtual Data Rooms (VDRs) and verifying pitch deck data against audited financials.
- Prepare data-driven investment memos and presentation decks for the Investment Committee, including sensitivity analysis and risk tables.
- Track upcoming capital calls for private equity funds and forecast cash flow requirements to ensure liquidity availability.
- Monitor and report on key macroeconomic indicators (Bond Yields, Inflation, Currency) to support asset allocation decisions.
- Analyze institutional investor activity and market trends to provide comparative insights for the portfolio.
- Oversee investment databases (Bloomberg, Morningstar, ACE MF) to ensure data accuracy and integrity for the team.
Requirements :
- MBA
- Chartered Financial Analyst with Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 is Mandatory
- 3-5 Years of Experience is Mandatory with at least 1 year in a Research role
- Some experience in a family office is preferred
- Experience as a buy side analyst in in an AMC/ Institutional Investment House / Wealth Management/ Wealth Advisory Firm or Treasurers or Credit Analysis experience in Banks/ Non-Bank Lenders/ Rating Agency
- Good Market Research, Verbal-Written-Presentation Skills, and Financial Modeling skills
- Incumbent should be analytical and detail-oriented, collecting, analyzing and interpreting data. Good understanding of First Principles, Deal Structures, Financial Discipline and Thesis Mindset
- Good oral and written English communication skills
