Role Overview:

Investment Analyst role within a Private Equity platform backed by a global sovereign wealth fund. The position supports the Director Investment Management across deal evaluation, financial modelling, investment committee materials, investor reporting, and asset-level analysis, with a strong focus on retail and retail-led mixed-use real estate investments.

This is a high-exposure analytical role, ideal for early-career professionals looking to build depth in PE real estate investing, fund analytics, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain detailed Excel-based financial models for:

- Individual investment deals

- Portfolio-level and fund-level analysis

- Prepare Investment Committee (IC) decks, memos, and supporting analysis.

- Assist in quarterly investor reporting and presentations for investment partners.

- Support due diligence activities, including:

- Market analysis

- Competitive benchmarking

- Review of third-party reports (market studies, cost estimates, tax and financial analysis)

- Conduct market research to identify acquisition opportunities in:

- Retail properties

- Retail-led mixed-use developments

- Develop operating and capital budgets for:

- Existing assets

- Potential acquisition targets

Core Skill Requirements:

- Strong financial modelling skills (Excel-heavy role)

- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

- Solid understanding of financial concepts:

- Time value of money

- IRR, NPV, cash flows

- Ability to analyze large data sets and convert analysis into clear presentations

- Strong written and verbal communication, especially for investor-facing material
