Role Title: Investment Advisor & Client Relationship Lead

Location: Gurgaon/Delhi
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Investment Advisor who can also take ownership of long-term client relationships. This role combines deep financial planning expertise with strong relationship management capabilities. You will act as a trusted partner to clients, delivering goal-based investment advice, managing portfolios, and ensuring consistent value creation across life stages.
The ideal professional will have a strong grasp of Indian capital markets, taxation, and regulatory frameworks, and will be comfortable working in a technology-enabled advisory environment. You will also contribute to building scalable, digital-first financial planning solutions for a broader client base.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary advisor for affluent and high-net-worth clients, managing end-to-end advisory relationships
- Build long-standing, trust-driven client relationships through regular engagement and proactive advisory
- Understand changing client needs and provide customized investment and planning solutions
- Identify opportunities to expand wallet share through additional advisory offerings and referrals
Financial Planning & Advisory
- Conduct comprehensive financial diagnostics including income assessment, goal planning, tax efficiency, retirement planning, and estate considerations
- Design and present structured, goal-aligned financial plans based on client risk profiles and objectives
- Periodically review portfolios and financial plans, making adjustments based on market movements, regulatory changes, or client life events
- Ensure portfolio construction and advisory recommendations are aligned with SEBI regulations and best practices
- Play a key role in developing a technology-led financial planning product aimed at self-directed (DIY) investors
Growth & Business Development
- Leverage personal and professional networks to onboard new clients and contribute to AUM growth
- Participate in industry forums, client events, and networking initiatives to strengthen brand presence
Candidate Profile
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline
- Certifications such as CFP, CFA, or NISM are advantageous
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory roles in the Indian market
- At least 2 years of direct client-facing experience managing affluent or HNI relationships
- Proven ability to grow and manage client assets over time
Skill Set
- Strong understanding of Indian investment products and structures, including mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, ULIPs, and REITs
- Working knowledge of taxation and regulatory considerations impacting investments
- Experience using financial planning and portfolio analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach to portfolio evaluation and risk assessment
- High level of integrity with a client-first advisory mindset
