About the Role:

Are you an experienced Investment Accountant with expertise in Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, IFRS/US GAAP, Cash Management, and Investment Accounting? We are looking for a skilled professional to manage fund/venture accounting activities, capital transactions, investor reporting, audit support, and investment acquisitions/dispositions. Hands-on experience with Yardi is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day cash transactions and bank accounts for assigned funds/ventures.

- Process accounting transactions, journal entries, and General Ledger activities in Yardi.

- Manage capital contributions, distributions, capital calls, commitments, and subscriptions.

- Prepare contribution and distribution calculations and coordinate investor documentation.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Perform account reconciliations and prepare financial reporting workpapers.

- Ensure financial reporting complies with IFRS and/or US GAAP.

- Support investor, lender, management, and third-party reporting.

- Support annual audits, PBC schedules, audit documentation, and audited financial statements.

- Support investment acquisitions, dispositions, fee calculations, and related accounting activities.

- Utilize Yardi Investment Management modules for cash, contributions, distributions, and other transactions.

- Identify opportunities for accounting process and system improvements.

Requirements:

- 57 years of relevant experience in Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, Real Estate Accounting, Private Equity, Asset Management, or Financial Services.

- Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.

- Hands-on experience in Financial Reporting, General Ledger accounting, and reconciliations.

- Strong understanding of cash management, capital contributions, and distributions.

- Experience with investor/lender reporting and audit support.

- Strong proficiency in MS Excel.

- Hands-on experience with Yardi is highly preferred.

- Knowledge of Yardi Investment Management will be an advantage.

- CA/Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
