Role Details:

Designation: Manager - IT Infrastructure

Role type: Individual Contributor

Reporting to: VP/AVP Information Technology

Location: Mumbai

Your Role (summary):

The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's IT infrastructure, with a focus on cloud management, vendor management, and IT administration. This role requires a strategic thinker with leadership skills and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure technologies.

You will be responsible for:

Cloud Management:

- Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of all cloud-based systems.

- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.

- Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs.

Vendor Management:

- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.

- Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing.

- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

IT Administration:

- Oversee the daily operations of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.

- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems.

- Implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies:

Technical Expertise:

- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization technologies.

- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms and services.

- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

- Management Skills:

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience in budgeting and financial management for IT projects.

- Ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.

- Analytical and Problem-Solving:

- Strong analytical skills to assess and troubleshoot complex IT issues.

- Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions.

- Communication and Collaboration:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Strong negotiation skills for vendor management.

The experience you bring (Educational Qualification/Experience):

- Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field or a Diploma in Engineering in Information technology or Computer Science.

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in information technology infrastructure management.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Proven experience in managing IT vendors and negotiating contracts.

- Experience in the asset management or financial services industry is preferred.

- Hands on experience as Wintel Admin, DNS handling, Intune Management, Storage, O365 & Any of CP will be value add

Certification/s (role based):

- Relevant certifications for AWS, Azure and Microsoft
