Role Overview:
As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, and contributing to efficient supply chain operations. This role involves collaborating closely with the procurement, logistics, and sales teams to forecast demand, manage inventory flow, and minimize stockouts or overstock situations. Your work directly impacts our ability to fulfill customer orders promptly and cost-effectively, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory data and sales trends to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels, ensuring product availability for customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or overstock situations, proactively communicating with relevant teams to mitigate risks.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock records and minimize discrepancies, improving data integrity.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate timely replenishment of inventory, supporting efficient supply chain operations.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify areas for improvement and track key performance indicators (KPIs), informing data-driven decisions.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and analyze inventory data from the database, providing insights for inventory optimization.
- Automate inventory management processes using Python scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy, reducing manual effort.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and forecast demand accurately.
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock records.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Practical experience in using Python to automate inventory management processes and generate reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Exp: 2+ Years Relevant experience in Supply Chain and Inventory
Total: 2-4 Years
Education: Tier 1 /Tier 2 or Good Premium institutes
Notice period: Max 15 Days
Industry: Ecommerce/Retail/Quick commerce
Skills: 50 % SQL Data , 50 % End-to end supply chain n inventory handling
