The Role: Lead - Growth Strategy & Partnerships

We are seeking a leader to shape and scale Scaler School of Technologys national outreach. This role goes beyond admissions - it is about building a respected, long-term presence for SST across Indias schools, communities, and counseling networks. Offline outreach is critical for us because it consistently delivers higher conversion, builds trust with families and schools, and creates an evergreen distribution flywheel that online channels alone cannot achieve.

As Lead - Growth Strategy & Partnerships, you will lead a distributed team across key cities, craft scalable playbooks for student engagement, and build deep relationships with principals, counselors, and parent communities. Youll be the face of SST in critical forums, driving both credibility and trust while ensuring our mission reaches ambitious students nationwide

What Youll Do:

Build & Lead the National Outreach Function:

- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of city outreach managers across India. Establish scalable processes that enable consistent outreach to schools, coaching centers, and community ecosystems nationwide.

Drive School & Counselor Engagement:

- Develop and deepen relationships with principals, school leaders, and JEE coaching networks. Position SST as a premier, aspirational choice for students by anchoring high-impact interventions such as workshops, competitions, and career fairs.

Design & Execute City GTM Playbooks:

- Create and institutionalize city-level playbookscareer fairs, principal roundtables, and counselor networksthat ensure repeatability and measurable outcomes. Track outreach performance with clear metrics and continuously refine strategies for higher ROI.

Shape Perception & Build Brand Trust:

- Ensure SSTs distinctive storyselectivity, outcomes, and global-level educationis consistently articulated. Partner with marketing teams to amplify offline engagement and extend its impact through digital storytelling.

Own Growth Targets & Strategic Integration:

- Take full ownership of offline lead generation and conversion outcomes. Define the national offline strategy as a critical growth lever, integrating it seamlessly with online campaigns to maximize reach, trust, and long-term brand equity.

What Were Looking For:

- 6+ years of experience across strategy (top-tier consulting firm e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent) and execution (startups) heavy roles - a mix of consulting and startups experience

- Startup builder mindset: Hands-on experience in scaling a business, setting up new functions, or building operations from scratch in a high-growth environment.

- Leadership & influence: Ability to hire, mentor, and inspire a distributed team while also building credibility with principals, school networks, and parent communities.

- Analytical & structured: Data-driven, process-oriented, and comfortable designing repeatable playbooks and tracking ROI across multiple cities.

- Resilient & mission-driven: Hustle, persistence, and the ability to operate with high ownership in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.
