About the Role

At Scaler School of Technology, student referrals are one of our strongest growth levers. As the Growth Marketing Manager, you will design and drive campaigns that turn students into our biggest advocates.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role that blends creativity with analytical rigour - perfect for someone who enjoys storytelling, experimentation, and measurable growth. You'll work at the intersection of marketing, product, and community, directly influencing student admissions and brand credibility.

What you will do/Responsibilities

1. Referral Growth Campaigns

- Conceptualize and run monthly campaigns with targeted messaging for different student segments.

- Support high-influence students in creating and amplifying content (videos, testimonials, LinkedIn posts, campus stories).

- Collaborate with design/copy teams to refine student-led content for maximum reach and engagement.

- Partner with influencers to amplify referral visibility and awareness.

2. Referral Funnel Optimization

- Work with product teams to integrate educational touchpoints about referrals within the student dashboard.

- Collaborate with the mid-funnel team to personalize communication based on referral activity levels.

- Track conversion rates and optimize for active referrers, power referrers, and super-referrers.

3. Referrer Amplification & Community Building

- Identify and nurture high-influence students with YouTube, LinkedIn, or Telegram presence.

- Organize workshops or events to foster a referral-driven culture.

- Prioritize resource allocation based on ROI potential (growth + brand impact).

4. Reward & Merchandise Management

- Coordinate timely disbursement of referral rewards and maintain accurate reward records.

- Liaise with finance and operations to ensure seamless reward execution.

- Manage the offline merchandise store for referral campaigns and engagement activities.

5. Measurement & Reporting

- Define and track success metrics across campaigns and touchpoints.

- Maintain dashboards capturing attributable referrals, conversion rates, and disbursed rewards.

Growth Opportunities

- Growth Lead / Senior Manager - GTM, overseeing multiple levers (Referrals, Influencer, Organic)

- Product Growth Manager, focusing on gamified experience and in-app funnel optimization

- Marketing Strategy Lead, driving cross-lever experimentation and scaling community-led growth

Required Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

Experience:

- 1-2 years of experience in growth, marketing, or strategy roles involving cross-functional collaboration.

- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of end-to-end problem statements and scale processes independently.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Strong analytical mindset; ability to track and interpret performance metrics.

- Hands-on experience with campaign ideation across WhatsApp, email, social media, and dashboard touchpoints.

- Creative eye for UGC-led campaigns and peer-to-peer influence.

- Comfort with data tracking, dashboards, and funnel optimization.

Bonus: Prior experience in EdTech, student communities, or referral-led growth.
