Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Taxation to join our Finance team. The role involves managing indirect and direct tax compliances, supporting audits, and ensuring timely filing and accuracy across taxation processes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage GST compliances, including computation of monthly GST liability and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and Annual Returns (GSTR 9/9C). - Conduct ITC reconciliations with GSTR-2A/2B and ensure accuracy of reporting. - Prepare and submit responses to GST departmental notices and queries. - Handle income tax-related compliances: TDS liability review, return filing, and issuance of TDS certificates. - Prepare detailed schedules and workings for Tax Audits. - Provide withholding tax advisories to internal stakeholders and business teams. - Perform reconciliation between books and statutory returns, ensuring completeness and compliance. Qualifications & Experience: - Qualified CA with articleship experience in GST law and return filing. - 2-5 years of relevant experience in taxation and compliance - Strong understanding of tax procedures, audits, and reporting requirements. Technical & Soft Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Working knowledge of Finance & Accounting tools such as SUN/ERP systems. - Experience with Taxation and e-filing software (e.g., Webtel, Genius). - Excellent communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.
